My friend Karen of Vintage Findings and I love taking classes together online. We both love learning new things and refining our Photoshop and photography skills. Our latest workshop is called Picture Fall and is taught by Tracey Clark, the founder of Shutter Sisters. Each day for 30 days we'll receive a photo prompt - an idea that will challenge our perspective and allow us to examine our world through the lens of the camera.
Our first photo challenge was to examine a fallen leaf. I saw this leaf clinging to the windowsill outside my office window this morning. Tenacious was the first word that came to mind. A useful trait to cultivate. I started a photo-a-day project earlier this year, but life has gotten in the way and I have not been consistent about taking daily photos. What I really love about a daily photo is that it allows you to capture small things, like this leaf, that you might otherwise never notice. So I am going to be tenacious about taking a photos every day for 31 days and savor the small joys of this Fall season.
PS> I used 3 textures from Kim Klassen to bring out the best in this simple image.
